President Book addressed faculty, students and their families Saturday morning to talk about Elon’s accomplishments and goals for the university in the next decade. The president gave updates on the current strategic plan, recent accomplishments and the plan going forward.

Volleyball downs reigning champs

The Phoenix (6-8, 1-0) took down the Pride (7-6, 0-1) 3-1 (25-20, 25-27, 25-20, 25-18). This was not only the opening game of family weekend but it was their first conference match of the season.

One of my favorite things to do is ask people where they think I am from. It starts out as a game, but deep down, I want people to ask me about my culture and question their stereotypes rather than my identity based on the color of my skin.
