BONNER: T-Pain ruined a great Homecoming performance with insulting comments online

After watching T-Pain perform and reading his post-concert comments about the town of Elon, I’ve developed a negative opinion of the rapper. He took to Twitter after the concert, saying he was “bored af in Elon (whatever that is),” which caused a frenzy among students, including myself.

Remembering Elon historian George Troxler

For 50 years, George Troxler served Elon University as a professor of history, dean of cultural programs, chief grand marshal and the first university historian. Troxler died on Oct. 27 at the age of 77.

Baltutis wins third term as mayor of Burlington

Ian Baltutis — an Elon University alumnus —won the mayoral election for the city of Burlington. With all precincts reporting Baltutis has won with 66.54% of the votes according to the unofficial election results from the North Carolina State Board of Elections.

Phoenix fall to Tribe in 5 OT thriller

The Elon University Phoenix fell to the College of William and Mary 31-29 in five rounds of overtime, the longest the Phoenix have played in its history. The loss comes after a total of three missed field goals for the Phoenix, and seven missed field goals for the Tribe.
