For the first time at Elon University, the Center for Race, Ethnicity and Diversity Education will be presenting Multiracial Awareness Week, providing several events to recognize students who identify as mixed race from March 4 to March 8.

Elon softball splits doubleheader with Oakland, La Salle

Elon University hosted Lafayette College, Oakland University and La Salle University this weekend in the Elon Softball Phoenix Invitational. Friday's game against Lafayette got rained out, and on Saturday, the Phoenix (8-6-1) lost to the Oakland Grizzlies (4-6) and beat the La Salle Explorers (0-4).

As crisis at home intensifies, Venezuelan students watch from afar

Thousands of miles from Elon, a nation is in crisis. Millions of Venezuelans have left their country in a mass exodus, fleeing a plummeting quality of life. While thousands hike across land borders every day, seeking refuge from food and medicine shortages and street violence, others have departed for the United States, and some of them have ended up here in Elon University.
