Elon University community prepares for mask mandate changes

While this new change may be in the favor of some at the university, not everyone is for the change. Psychology professor Katie King said she is against Elon University lifting the indoor mask requirement and would like the masks to stay, even though Alamance and Guilford counties have lifted the mask mandate.

Elon University softball loses 11-3 against Michigan

Elon returns to Hunt Softball Park on Mar. 2 for a game against North Carolina State University. This will be Elon’s third game against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent this season, as the Phoenix defeated UNC-Chapel Hill on Feb. 16 and fell to Duke University on Feb. 23.

Alamance County’s rising costs reflect larger trends

Interest rates, gas prices and a high demand for home building. For Tonmoy Islam, professor of economics at Elon University, these are all casualties of the current state of inflation in the United States. Increased gas costs and home prices in Alamance County are following trends throughout the country, and that’s because inflation is more than just a regional issue.
