
Elon University dance team wins gold bid again at NDA Camp
For the second straight year, the Elon University dance team has earned a gold bid to compete at the National Dance Alliance Nationals competition.
Jacob Kisamore ‘24 is studying journalism and sport management at Elon University. Kisamore serves as a sports reporter and photographer for Elon News Network, covering games and sport stories for the organization’s website, broadcasts and newspaper. When he is not reporting, Kisamore enjoys watching sports, reading, listening to podcasts and going on walks around campus. He hopes to work in sports media or sports communications.

For the second consecutive year, the Elon University men’s basketball team will participate in a November tournament, as the Phoenix is part of the four-team field at the Asheville Championship.

Elon hosts William & Mary for a three-game series next week to close out the regular season. The first game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
Elon will play the University of North Carolina Wilmington for the CAA championship tomorrow. Wilmington is undefeated in the tournament, meaning Elon will need to beat them two times to win the tournament. The teams will play at 10 a.m. in the first game tomorrow and will play again at 12:30 p.m. in a winner-take-all game if Elon wins.
Elon University softball beats Charleston 1-0 to stay alive in CAA Tournament, and moves on to play Delaware later today.
Elon will play its final non-conference game of the season against North Carolina A&T State University on Tuesday before hosting Towson University, the CAA’s last-place team, for a three game series next weekend.
This is Elon’s fourth CAA team championship, as the team also won in 2021, 2016 and 2015.
Tomorrow’s final day at the Solomon Outdoor Track on the campus of Northeastern University will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Elon finishes its regular season with a 27-20 record and will play its first two games in the CAA Softball Tournament, which has a double-elimination bracket, on May 12. Elon's seed has not yet been determined.
Elon will travel to Boston to compete in the 2022 CAA Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships from May 6 to 7 at Northeastern University’s Solomon Outdoor Track facility. Elon won last year’s team championship — its third CAA title since joining the conference in 2014.
