Elon University will begin in-person classes for the fall semester on August 19

Elon University will begin in-person classes for fall 2020 on Aug. 19. This is six days before the original start date on Aug. 25. The plan for the fall semester titled “Ready & Resilient,” is based on the recommendation of the Task Force on Fall Semester 2020 chaired by President Emeritus Leo Lambert.

Alamance County Public Libraries considers storytime to be their most popular service. The program is now taking place online through virtual storytime. Virtual storytime simulates the in-person program by having the Alamance librarians plan themed, pre-recorded storytimes that are posted online for public viewing.

Menorah outside of Elon Chabad torn down, caught on camera

According to a Facebook post from Chabad, the video shows an unidentified individual stop in front of the Chabad house and exit their car. The individual went on to tear down the Menorah, get back in their car and then drive away.
