Local libraries keep their most popular service by hosting digital storytime

Alamance County Public Libraries considers storytime to be their most popular service. The program is now taking place online through virtual storytime. Virtual storytime simulates the in-person program by having the Alamance librarians plan themed, pre-recorded storytimes that are posted online for public viewing.

Menorah outside of Elon Chabad torn down, caught on camera

Coronavirus leaves small school draft prospects searching for next move

Elon University students eligible to receive CARES Act funds

Eligible students can receive emergency financial aid grants from the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act. The CARES Act, which is part of the national response to financial impact due to the coronavirus, provided Elon University with over $2.9 million in federal aid, half of which is required to be used for emergency student relief.
