Tech week at Elon University takes toll on dancer’s body, mental health

This year, dancers will be able to perform maskless, but audience members will be required to wear masks during the performance. Social distancing regulations have been put in place requiring six feet between dancers and the front row of the audience, with the audience wearing masks during performances.

Florence study abroad program sees increased enrollment

According to Bill Burress, director of study abroad at Elon University, programs like Florence, Italy have seen an increase in enrollment because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a normal semester, Burress said programs are limited to no more than 80 students, but this year, that’s changed.

Elon University students have one week to submit flu vaccination records before Phoenix card deactivation, disenrollment

SGA members heard the flu vaccination update from Dean of Students Jana Lynn Patterson during a Student Government Association meeting on Thursday, in addition to hearing from Vice President for Strategic Initiatives Jeff Stein, who informed students there would be a clinic on campus after Thanksgiving for students to receive booster shots of the Pfizer-BioTech COVID-19 vaccine.
