Class of 2025 SGA senators, appointed senators sworn in

The Elon University Student Government Association met on Sept. 16, 2021 for a business meeting. During the meeting, the newly elected class of 2025 senators and members of SGA appointed to vacant senator positions were sworn in.

Elon University Vice President Emerita dies

Vice President Emerita Jo Watts Williams died at the age of 92 at her home in Burlington today. Her death comes two months after the Dr. Jo Watts Williams School of Education was named in her honor.

Elon University named #1 national university for excellence in undergraduate teaching by U.S. News & World Report

Elon University is ranked No. 1 for excellence in undergraduate teaching by the annual U.S. News & World Report “Best Colleges” Guide, which released rankings on Sept. 13. The university also received a No. 9 ranking in the “Most Innovative” category, tied with University of Michigan Ann Arbor, and was ranked No. 83 overall among national universities.
