Elon University yoga club brings relaxation to campus

The yoga club meets in the Numen Lumen Sacred Space every Monday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mats and blocks are provided and a teacher is present — either from the community or a student who is a certified yoga instructor.

COVID-19 cluster identified within Elon business fraternity

Elon University identified a COVID-19 cluster from 15 positive cases among members of the Alpha Kappa Psi co-ed business fraternity over the past week. The cluster comes from the 43 students who participated in an off-campus trip over the weekend on Oct. 1 through 3.

Elon University continues to face gender gap

It all begins in kindergarten — the female-male gender gap in education, that is. Beginning in K-12 schools, the gender gap has increased throughout the years, according to Tom Mortenson, senior scholar at the Pell Institute for the Study of Opportunity in Higher Education. But 2021 has officially been marked the year with the largest female-male gender gap in the history of higher education.

Elon University volleyball wins to split weekend series with James Madison

With the victory, Elon maintains its spot atop the Colonial Athletic Association standings, ahead of second place James Madison. Elon is now halfway through its conference schedule and will host two matches against UNC Wilmington next weekend.
