Vice President for Student Life Jon Dooley sent out an email stating that the campus of Elon intends to operate as normal on Wed, Jan. 19, after class and facility schedules were revised due to severe winter weather conditions.
Although temperatures will continue to drop overnight, travel conditions have improved due to the rise in temperature during the day. Sidewalks and roads have been cleared of snow at this point, but caution is still advised due to icy surfaces.
Dooley stated that the university will continue to keep an eye on the forecast to anticipate any further disruptions to campus safety and operations.
