Elon’s women’s cross country team places first in Firetower Project meet

Elon University’s women’s cross country team overall placed first with 28 points, 10 ahead of host and runner-up Appalachian State University. With a blistering time of 16:49 in the women’s 5k race, Elon University junior Maria Ahm placed first in the Firetower Project cross country meet in Boone, N.C.

Pandemic affects leave of absence numbers at Elon University

While the medical leave of absence has been available for years now for students, the pandemic leave of absence was offered beginning fall 2020 for students who felt uncomfortable returning to school because of COVID-19. Going into the 2021-22 academic years, LOA numbers have changed.
