Campaigning for US Senate: Cheri Lynn Beasley hopes to address the U.S. criminal justice system, reform student loan programs and protect the environment from climate change

Cheri Beasley, the first African American woman to serve as Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court, is running for U.S. senate. Beasley said her experience as a judge on the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and as associate justice and chief justice of the N.C. Supreme Court, has given her great experience.

Campaigning for US House of Representatives: Crystal Cavalier hopes to address climate, healthcare and cybersecurity

Crystal Cavalier grew up in Alamance County: living on the land that has been in her family for generations, graduating from Eastern Alamance High School and settling in Burlington, where she lives currently. Now, she hopes to serve Alamance County as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing the 4th Congressional District.

Campaigning for US House of Representatives: Robert Thomas hopes to address national unity, prosperity and safety

For Robert Thomas, this year’s campaign cycle is all about talking to people. It’s something he didn’t get to do when he ran in 2020 for North Carolina’s 4th congressional district. Now, Thomas said he’s “on the upswing.” His motivation for running is his family and their history of service. This year, Thomas is one of two Republican candidates running for the 4th congressional district.
