Elon University lacrosse defeated by Towson

The Phoenix is now 5-7 in the season and will travel to play the James Madison University Dukes on April 9 for their third Colonial Athletic Association game of the season. The Dukes are ranked 11th in NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse with a record of 7-4.

Elon University Public Policy Think Tank class, student organization strives for open dialogue

From Burlington to Poland: Donations, aid make its way to Ukrainians

Cities throughout Ukraine such as Kyiv, Kharkiv and Mariupol have been under attack for weeks, and supply and every day essentials are quickly running out. Though she’s just one person, Lisa Eddins said she hopes she can inspire more people in the area to donate and remind them that life can be taken at any moment.

Nadine Jose elected Elon University student body president

Nadine Jose has been elected Elon University’s student body president with 55% of the votes. The results are final with 1,817 votes cast in this year’s election. Jose this year has served as the School of Communications senator and previously as a campus programs senator.

Citizens speak against Aspen Avenue construction

At the Board of Alderman work session on March 28, Aldermen discussed a resolution about the Aspen Avenue development, a new solid waste and recycling contract, and a public hearing for a rezoning request. The board has also transitioned to a new schedule and will meet on the second Tuesday and the fourth Monday each month.
