Steven House issues an update on petition to unionize

Provost Steven House updated Elon University on a petition previously filed by the Service Employees International Union, Workers United Southern Region (SEIU) on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018. In the petition, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) demanded that the university hold a vote among adjunct, limited-term and visiting faculty members on the subject of forming a labor union at Elon.

Heartbreak on the hardwood

There is no denying that college sports are full of heartbreak. Blown leads, comebacks that fall just short, losing to teams you should beat and not quite pulling off an upset — very seldom does college basketball provide a loss that is easy to swallow.
