Across the United States, a majority of people do not achieve a college education.

How Jon Dooley climbed to top of Elon's administrative ranks

For the first time in 23 years, the Office of Student Life is under new leadership. Jon Dooley, who has worked at Elon since January 2014 as Assistant Vice President for Student Life, was appointed Vice President for Student Life last December. He officially started June 1.

Elon community comes together to view solar eclipse

 

At 2:43 p.m., Elon and Alamance county witnessed the first solar eclipse to sweep across America in 99 years. The Elon area was able to see a partial solar eclipse with a maximum of 93 percent blockage of the sun by the moon.

University makes tentative plans to tear down Elon elementary

After a trade deal that was made a little over a year ago, Elon University has made a tentative plan to tear down the existing Elon Elementary School, located on East Haggard Avenue.   The plan includes building on-campus resident housing that would connect to campus.

She's awake: Molly Offstein shows recovery months after accident

She's awake, but her road to recovery is far from over. Elon University cross country runner Molly Offstein, who was struck by a car while jogging March 6, is now conscious after nearly four months of being in a medically induced coma, her father Evan Offstein wrote in a Facebook post.
