The club met Wednesday night to discuss the positive impacts a train stop could bring to Elon University.

Car damaged by gunfire outside of Elon's Chabad House

Reports of a vehicle being damaged by a gunshot outside of the Chabad House at 107 Truitt Drive were reported sometime between 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Vice President of Student Life Jon Dooley said in a campus-wide email sent on Thursday night.

Referrals and arrests at Elon rise from past years

Arrests and referrals for drug and liquor related violations jumped at Elon University from 2016 to 2018. Elon is the only school among its peer institutions to see a percentage increase in all four drug and liquor categories, according to data from campus police departments, published in federally required reports.

The Burlington mayoral election explained
