Presidential candidates battle for the top spot in Elon's SGA

Juniors Brandon Veal and Robbie Miley are running for Student Government Association executive president this election season. While they both currently represent the class of 2021 as president and vice president, neither of them won their first SGA campaigns their freshmen year.

Elon professor in Florence calls program suspension 'heartbreaking'

Elon University suspended its abroad program in Florence, Italy after an outbreak of the COVID-19 — known as the coronavirus — in the Lombardy region. There are 21 students and one faculty member who will be returning to the United States.

McIntosh can't be stopped, men's basketball wins 70-62

The Elon University Phoenix (11-18, 8-9 CAA) faced off against rival James Madison University Dukes (9-17, 2-13 CAA) winning 70-62 on the road. This game marked just the second to last game the Dukes would play in what’s been its home court since 1982. It was also the first game of three on the road for the Phoenix, its final three games before conference tournament play. It's last away excursion proved successful for the Phoenix, winning both games away, and the momentum only continued today.

Baseball falls to UNC Chapel Hill on the road

After completing a three-game sweep of Delaware State University at home on opening weekend, Elon University baseball took on No. 13 ranked University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill on Tuesday. The Phoenix (3-1) fell to the Tar Heels (4-0), with a final score of 7-1.
