On ‘Hall of Fame’: Nothing is stopping Big Sean

Still Bumpin’ is a new series in which The Edge contributor Peter Walpole muses on albums still getting airplay in his personal library months after their release. More than eight months after its initially intended release date, Big Sean, GOOD Music’s first Detroit player off the bench, has finally dropped his sophomore LP, “Hall of Fame.” Sean elected to omit the originally intended subtitle addendum to the album, “Memoirs of a Detroit Player,” in the lead up to the release, but the sentiment is intact. Ask an Alum: Considering graduate school to continue your college experience

While many students anticipate attending college for four years and then finding a full-time job, a number of students are pursuing graduate school upon completing their bachelor’s degree.

Moseley parking lot to shrink with start of construction on new admissions building

The Moseley parking lot will be downsizing after fall break to allow for construction to begin on the Inman Admissions Welcome Center, according to an email to the student body from Dennis Franks, director of campus safety and police. The Moseley lot currently has 287 spaces and will decrease to approximately 100 spaces along with a few 20 minute parking spaces. "I think it's going to cause a lot of problems because everybody likes to park here to go to the library, go to the gym, go to Moseley," said Devon Rogers, a sophomore who has a car on campus.

Shutdown Felt by Current and Past Elon Students

Although Washington D.C. is about 300 miles away from Elon's campus, the impact of the government shutdown, which has gone on for a week now, is being felt by several members of the Elon community. Junior Katie Blunt, a Lumen Scholarship recipient, is one of those people.

Elon University, Go Baby Go modify cars for children with mobility challenges

Elon University’s Innovation Hall was filled with the high-pitched hums of electric motors and the sounds of childhood play April 4. The noises came from the first Go Baby Go program at Elon, where the community takes standard electric toy cars and adapts them for children who cannot traditionally operate one.
