Shooting reported at convenience store near UNCG

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro Police Department reported an off-campus shooting at Great Stops, a convenient store located less than a mile from UNCG's main campus. As of 9:20 p.m., police have determined campus is clear.

Students in the newly renovated Virginia Hall face flooding the first week of classes

Flooding in Virginia Residence Hall moved some students out of their dorm rooms earlier this week. KJ Jacoby is a first year student who lives in Virginia. Jacoby said the flooding began Sunday night when brown water started to accumulate inside her and her suitemate’s shower.
