Updated: 5:03 p.m. to include video of inside the apartment where the floor collapsed

Seven students from two Station at Mill Point apartments in building 120 have been moved out after the floor of a second story apartment dropped 3 inches.

According to Director of Building Trades Tim Dengler, students living on the second floor had an event last night where the number of people in attendance and loud music caused the floor to sink.

Physical Plant is currently investigating the structure of the apartment and says it could take three to four weeks to fix. As of now they are unsure of how much it will cost to fix.

Students affected by the damages have been relocated to other living accommodations on campus while the university fixes the floor.

New video from inside the apartment from where the floor partially collapsed. In a Snapchat video people can be seen partying in the space, as well as one video captioned, "We about to fall through the floor."

One eye witness, who also recorded the video of people standing outside the apartment, estimated that there was at least 100 people that left the residence.
