Goodrum and No. 13 UNCW take down Elon

The Elon University Phoenix (3-7-1) took on the University of North Carolina Wilmington Seahawks (9-2-1) ranked No. 13 in the country on Wednesday night. In the on-and-off rain and intense humidity, the Phoenix were unable to break a six-game winless streak against the Seahawks who were yet to lose a game in the CAA conference, falling 2-0.

Volleyball falls to JMU in four sets

The Phoenix remains winless all-time against the Dukes, now sitting at a 0-10 career record. Senior outsider hitter Kam Terry said, “JMU is our biggest rival in the CAA, so we always come into the game really really excited, trying to get the win.”

Elon men’s soccer outlasted by Delaware Blue Hens in late game thriller

The Elon Phoenix (3-6-1) could not equalize the Blue Hens of Delaware (3-7-0) after a goal midway through the second half broke the Phoenix positive drives. Evident throughout the match was the team's intense desire to win its first Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) conference game this year, but with a low shot count of seven, only one on target, the Phoenix did not come out with the outcome they needed.
