Elon women's soccer and Liberty University play to a draw

The Elon Phoenix Women’s Soccer team played the Liberty University Flames tied for their first time this season, 1-1. Despite Liberty holding a 1-4-1 record before playing the Phoenix, head coach Neil Payne said he expected the result.

Elon University senior and former member of Elon's football team Nicholas Kavouklis was found dead in a rural part of Southern Alamance County just after 2 p.m. on May 23 according to an email from Vice President of Student Life Jon Dooley. Kavouklis from Tampa, Florida, and an exercise science major.
