After working for more than three years to get a bid to charter a chapter on campus, Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. is now officially the first Asian-interest sorority at Elon University. The organization was formerly the interest group known as EMPRESS— Elon Maintaining Pan-Asian Respect, Equity and Social Service.

Elon University Homecoming 2022 kicked off with trick or treat in the Moseley Center today and will conclude with crowning Homecoming Royalty during the Homecoming football game. Read below for the full schedule of events.
The Gender and LGBTQIA Center, along with Late Night Elon, hosted its annual Dragstravaganza show from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Oct 29 in Alumni Gym. This was the first year Dragstravaganza was held in Alumni Gym, which has a larger capacity than the typical venue, College Street Taphouse.
“Head Over Heels” is a The Go-Go’s jukebox musical based on “The Arcadia” by Sir Philip Sydney, which creates a contrast between its Elizabethean era, Shakespeare-style dialogue and rock music score. Remaining performances in McCrary Theatre are at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29 and at 7:30 p.m. on both Nov. 3 and Nov. 4.
On the final day of Greek Week, Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Association organizations were recognized for the week’s accomplishments at an awards ceremony on Medallion Plaza. Team 5, consisting of Delta Delta Delta, Kappa Delta and Sigma Pi, were the overall winners of Greek Week. The team also won the Philanthropy Award.
