Elon dance tradition soars for eighth year

On Sunday, Sept. 27, the annual “Dancing in the Landscape” glided through Elon’s main campus. The performance featured all twelve of the first-year BFA Dance students at Elon as well as the junior and senior class  “Dancing in the Landscape” is an Elon tradition that was celebrating their eighth year this Sunday.

Gigi Hadid speaks out against body shaming

It is no surprise that Gigi Hadid has class and dignity on top of her dazzling looks. As suicide prevention month continues, some students have been wondering why Elon does not require pre-screening for mental health issues like depression or anxiety. More than one thousand suicides take place on college campuses every year, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Elon dedicates site of School of Communications expansion

Elon University President Leo Lambert remembers a phone call with Dwight Schar from last December, days after he and his wife donated $12 million for a number of university projects, including the School of Communications expansion. "OK, have the bulldozers shown up yet?" Schar asked. They arrived in May, and the construction has continued on the project that Schar's donation spearheaded.
