Looking to snap its losing streak, the Phoenix (2-7) will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 11, to face off against the UNC Chapel Hill Tar Heels. The game is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m on the ACC Network.
Five Elon University football players have entered the NCAA’s Transfer Portal and will look to finish their college football careers at a new school.
Senior guard Brie Perpignan has been a leader for Elon University’s women’s basketball for the last four seasons. After the team’s last season was shortened due to COVID-19, Perpignan said she is excited to be back on the court.
Now 2-6 on the season, Elon will look to snap its losing streak on Saturday, Dec. 4 in a home tilt against the High Point University Panthers. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

The Phoenix take on #1 South Carolina on the road on Nov. 26. With a 4-0 record, Smith said she is looking forward to the chance to take on such a well-ranked opponent this week.
The Phoenix resumes its non-conference schedule against the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 1 p.m.
Elon will now enter its first normal offseason since the conclusion of the 2019 season after the program played during the spring of 2021 with its fall season being pushed back due to COVID-19.
Elon’s season is over, as the Phoenix finish with a record of 17-11. With the win, Towson clinched an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

The Phoenix opens the tournament against West Virginia in primetime on Thursday night and will also play games on Friday and Sunday. The Phoenix and the Mountaineers will tip off at approximately 9:00 p.m. in TD Arena. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
Coming off the most successful regular season in program history, Elon University’s volleyball team is now focused on its next goal-winning its first ever Colonial Athletic Association championship and earning its first ever bid in the NCAA Tournament.

Former Elon University men’s basketball player Ikenna Ndugba ‘21 recently became a member of the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA Gatorade League. The Swarm is the G-League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets.
Last season, the Phoenix reached its first ever Colonial Athletic Association Tournament championship game as an eight seed. Though the team lost, falling just one game short of an automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament, it was the closest the program has ever been to reaching March Madness.
