An Elon student reported to town police that he was held up at knifepoint and robbed early Friday morning at the intersection of Trollinger and Church Street, according to a university-wide email sent by Elon Dean of Students Smith Jackson. The student was walking on West Trollinger around 12:30 a.m., two blocks west of campus.

When Chris Blair arrived at Elon University last spring, he said the other defensive backs on the football team knew more about him than he knew about himself. “[Junior linebacker] John Silas welcomed me into his apartment and told me to move in with him,” Blair said.
