This morning, the Global Neighborhood, welcomed freshmen with smiles and free Elon gear. Residence Life assistant, and Elon junior, Jasmine Walters, said that the goal of the day was “to show students that they have a community and a sense of belonging.”

New students eagerly moved in to the Colonnades Neighborhood this morning. Starting at 7:30 a.m., orientation leaders and resident assistants welcomed the new Elon families in the neighborhood parking lot and helped with check-in, carrying boxes and pushing blue carts.

Students, faculty and staff need to move vehicles ahead of move-in day

Elon University is asking students, faculty and staff to move their vehicles ahead of 1700 new students moving in to dorms. Towing will be enforced in the following lots between 8 p.m. Thursday and 8 p.m. Friday.
