Last fall, senior Devin Mehra began using the dating app Tinder, but was frustrated by the messaging feature — the back-and-forth mental games that led nowhere. So he created his own dating app, When & Where,now available on Elon University’s campus.

Men's Soccer earns shared CAA title

This past Saturday night, Elon Men's Soccer hosted the College of Charleston on Rudd field for the team's annual senior night, but little did they know it would be more special than they imagined. As the game was tied at zero, before heading into an extra time period with COFC, the team found out that Colonial Athletic Association leader Hofstra had lost and that they were playing for a share of the conference championship. Inclusive Elon: Delving deeper into LGBTQIA campus culture

Open, mark as unread, send to spam folder. Elon University staff member Matthew Antonio Bosch spent the morning of August 27, 2015 as he would any other — checking his email. But as he opened one email in particular, he got a lump in his throat and re-read the email over and over again in a state of shock. Elon had been named one of the top 25 LGBTQ-friendly college and universities in the country by Campus Pride Index.

Volleyball stumbles late, falls in five at Delaware

The Elon University Phoenix volleyball team lost to the University of Delaware Blue Hens on Saturday, 3-2 (24-26, 26-24, 25-18, 13-25, 7-15). The loss marks Elon's 20th on the season, and its tenth in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play.  The Phoenix trailed early in the first set, but managed to narrow the score late.

Last-minute goal clinches men's soccer share of conference title

Senior night ended in dramatic fashion on Halloween, as the No. 24-ranked Elon University men's soccer team pulled out a last-minute victory in a crucial Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) finale against College of Charleston in sudden-death. The game, otherwise marred by untimely penalties and missed opportunities, was scoreless through 90 minutes of regulation as well as the ten-minute overtime period.

Caitlyn Balkcum prepares for senior music recital

Senior Caitlyn Balkcum will take the audience through a range of cultures during her classical voice recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 in Whitley Auditorium. As a music education major, Balkcum is required to prepare a recital featuring music from various composers and time periods.
