This weekend the Elon Exchange Club sold its Brunswick stew by the Elon Fire Station on South William Ave. Quarts of the stew cost $7 or five quarts for $30. Charlie Vitou is the vice president of the club.

Elon University's Physical Plant got off to a late start in preparing for this round of winter weather. Since Physical Plant's workers were not here over the weekend they didn't start preparing their equipment until Monday, said Matt Kirkman, Lead Groundskeeper for Physical Plant.

Each year senior music theatre majors need need to raise money to bring casting directors to Elon. With a class of 30, this year students wanted to bring nine directors to Elon. It costs about $2,000 for each director. In addition to selling merchandise like T-shirts and socks, this year the majors are taking off some clothes to fundraise.

Eddie King, former Fire and EMT Director for the Town of Elon, spoke publicly for the first time to ELN about being suspended from his job. King was placed on non-disciplinary suspension on Sept. 10 and last week, while suspended, he announced his retirement.
