Elon University women’s basketball coach Charlotte Smith threw Shay Burnett and Malaya Johnson, the team’s two freshmen, right into the fire last year. And they produced. The University of Delaware sent out a release late Thursday night stating that the CAA announced the league schedule for 2016, which was posted in a grid linked to the website. Dave and Lisa Hartman took in Allison eight years ago when “he was going through a rough time,” and he became a part of their family, Lisa Hartman told Elon Local News and The Pendulum in a phone interview Thursday. “We were really proud of Demitri,” Lisa Hartman said.
