U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia died in his sleep last night at age 79 while visiting Texas. According to CNN, President Obama plans on nominating a replacement "as soon as possible." However, Obama will have a challenging time nominating a new member to the court as the senate is Republican-controlled and it is an election year.
