Town Table closed on August 16 and, according to an Elon Local News exclusive interview on Wednesday with President Leo Lambert and Senior Vice President Gerald Whittington, College Street Taphouse will be closing as early as August 17. Lambert and Whittington said the bar and restaurant are closing for economic reasons. There are not any current plans for what will fill the spaces.
