Benevolence Farm: Re-entry program for incarcerated women
Just 17 miles from Elon exists 13 acres of farmland. But unlike the other 8 million acres of farmland in North Carolina, this plot of land hopes to transform the lives of women. "The farm will serve as housing as well as employment for women who are coming out of and returning to the community from prison," said Tanya Jisa, Executive Director of Benevolence Farm.
