But defensive end Dre Howell heard the chants. And then he delivered.
Singer-songwriter Jon Bellion will be here in concert at Elon this weekend as a culmination of homecoming celebrations. As part of the concert, Student Union Board found a student here on campus to open for the concert to tie the Elon community even further into the concert. SUB Concert Committee Director, Colton Cadarette said Ben Warters was the perfect candidate for the event because of his determination.

Homecoming Weekend brings hundreds of alumni back to Elon University to visit the campus they once called home. This year, a new alumni group is making their debut: the Elon Latinx Hispanic Alumni Network (ELHAN). The creation of an alumni network for Latinx- and Hispanic-identified students has been in the works for several years, but considering the growth of the Latinx/Hispanic population at Elon over the last several years, many saw now as the perfect time to create a formal group.
The Elon community gathered in Numen Lumen Pavilion Sunday night to mourn the death of Breslin Wiley, the 21-year-old junior who died unexpectedly Saturday. Every seat in the Sacred Space was filled. People had to line the walls and doorways to make room.

Elon University junior Breslin Thomas Wiley, 21, died Saturday morning. He was found at his off-campus home in the Town of Elon. Town of Elon Police were called to Wiley's home at 216 E Foster Drive, shortly after noon. An investigation is currently being conducted to determine the cause of death.
