When you walk into the Inman Admissions building, there's a good chance you'll see Amy Woods sitting at the desk with a smile on her face.
The campus visit assistant acts as a supervisor for admissions staff. "She's the mom to all the tour guides and the office assistants as well. She's always there for me," said senior Max Herrera.
Herrera wanted to do something special for Woods on her birthday, so he asked the fellow tour guides to donate to get her to her dream destination.
"I know she's always wanted to go to Colorado," Herrera said. He says Woods is part of the reason he decided to move to Denver after graduation.
Together, 91 tour guides donated a total of $1,430 for Woods to take a vacation to Colorado with her husband.
"I love you guys," Woods said when she accepted the check.
