The Elon University volleyball team fell to the Tigers of Towson University 3-1 (14-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-18). The loss gives the Phoenix its second consecutive defeat at home in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play this season.  "Our offense is getting better and better, and it's nice to see," said head coach Mary Tendler after the match.

For members of the Elon softball team, they spent their evening at Allied Churches of Alamance County handing out food to the those in need.
