While college students may not be known for having disposable incomes, those that do have options have the ability to go beyond simply having a savings account. David Gray, a financial advisor with Capital Management in Greensboro, said he sees investing early as a key component to getting on the right track, financially. "No matter how small the amount, it's the habit you want to develop," Gray said.

Don’t light that incense just yet — and not just because it’s against university rules to burn incense in a residence hall. A study by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Gillings School of Global Public Health found that burning incense could cause lung inflammation. Kenneth Sexton, retired research assistant professor of environmental science at UNC and co-author of the study, compared the products of incense burned in the study to those found in cigarette smoke. “We found carbon monoxide concentrations from burning incense to be many times greater than from cigarette smoke,” Sexton said.

"In terms of what any coach could ask for in leaving a legacy at Elon, Morningstar has nailed it," Dilanni said. Despite Morningstar's departure, DiIanni said he is excited about the changing direction of Elon's golf team under new head coach Don Hill.
