Elon women's basketball team bows against Delaware in CAA quarterfinals

Elon closed the first three periods with an advantage on the scoreboard, but faltered in the contest's closing minutes.

Phoenix fall to Tribe's late effort on senior night

The Elon University Men's Basketball team lost to William and Mary by a score of 75-65 on Thursday night. The Phoenix held the lead for the majority of the game, including a seven point edge at the close of the first half, but their offensive effort seemed to fall apart in the game's final minutes, only making one of their last seven shots to end the contest. It was a bittersweet night in Alumni Gym from the start, as Elon's seniors played the final home game of their careers.

Running Water Shut Off in Academic Pavilions

According to an email from Amy Vaughn, a residential administrator, water was not available in the Academic Pavilions, East Gym, Powell House, NC Campus Compact, or Hillel House due to nearby underground roadwork.

President Obama announces changes to FAFSA application

Though his days in office are numbered, President Obama rolled out a new piece of legislation this week during a speech in Des Moines, Iowa. In order to make it easier for prospective college students apply for financial aid, President Obama announced a series of minor amendments to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) program.
