Elon senior running back Jamal Shuman has been suspended indefinitely, according to the Elon University athletic department. Shuman has 22 carries for 64 yards and no touchdowns this season in eight games. in 2009, Shuman was third in the Southern Conference in rushing yards per game with 67.7 yards per game and helped lead the Phoenix to the FCS playoffs that year.
