After a long summer, student employees can expect a refresher training session at their respective on campus jobs. Elon tour guides not only have one of the longest training sessions (16 hours over 2 days), but that time will also be unpaid. According to North Carolina and federal labor laws, this requirement set by the Office of Admissions is illegal.
