Elon football falls to Duke in season opener, gives up 35 points in second half

Elon University’s football team was defeated by Duke University 45-17 in its first game of the season. With new starters on both sides of the ball, including redshirt freshman quarterback Landen Clark, the Phoenix tied the game multiple times and trailed by a touchdown early in the fourth quarter, but a 35 point second half from Duke was too much to overcome.

Elon University campus parking expansions set to ‘build capacity’ for campus lots

This year, freshmen are only allowed to park in designated lots marked with an “FY” sign matching their parking permits. Currently, freshman are temporarily parking in additional designated spaces as construction continues for the upcoming freshman lot.

Elon University student activity fees fund various organizations, campus events and traditions

As students prepare for the 2025-26 academic year, they might notice a $146 fee for student activities as part of their fall tuition bill. This fee is charged every semester to full time students, providing funding for different events, traditions and organizations on campus. Part time students are charged $73 each semester.
