The 159th N.C. State Fair opened today.The fair runs between October 17-27. Activities at the fair include food, games, rides and the State Fair Ark which is an exhibit featuring livestock and agriculture.
Rides range from a carousel, the Flyer—a gondola with a view of the whole fairground— several ferris wheels and more.
Tickets start at $13 for adults, $7 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and under. Parking for the fair located at Carter–Finley Stadium.
