The Martin Luther King Coalition has, for the last 30 years sponsored and presented two main events each year to commemorate

Dr. King's legacy. We provide a Sunday service at First Baptist Church Apple Street and a breakfast on the following

Monday morning at Occasions, both celebrating his Birthday and life. Both are very well attended and the breakfast is usually sold out.

This year we are adding another special event. On Dr. King's actual Birthday, we are having a wreath-laying and reception

to kick off the special weekend of events.

This will occur on at 12:00 noon, January 15, 2016, at the North Park Recreation

Center immediately after the wreath is dedicated.

This will be a photo opportunity for all who attend and we are hoping our friends from many different organizations and offices will join in.

The photo(s)will appear in local papers and will help remind citizens of the events of the weekend.

I do hope you can come and support our efforts and the legacy of Dr. King.

Yours truly,

President
