Selena Gomez has been making the rounds promoting her new album, "Revival," and this time she's laying down the law. Earlier this year, the "Good for You" singer faced harsh criticism from Internet trolls and mean-spirited people after pictures of her "fuller-figure" surfaced online. Her response on Instagram showed Selena lounging by the pool in a swimsuit with the caption "I love being happy with me y'all #theresmoretolove."

Many months later, Selena is now talking about how these nasty comments made her feel. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Friday, Selena explained why she responded the way she did.

"The reason why I did that is because I didn't want them to win. 'Cause then, the next day, it wasn't about how I gained weight. It was about how I embraced it."

Kudos to you, Selena. She shut down the haters with her wise words, but she told Seacrest that her new album will give the final say. Plus, the album cover showcases Selena in the nude showing off her body with confidence. We couldn't love her more.
