At Thursday night’s SGA Senate meeting, 11 students were unanimously voted and sworn in to new positions as senators and executive board members.
The following students were voted into new positions for the semester:

Ross Rosati, Freshman Senator
Austin Martin, Freshman Vice President
Grace McDavid, School of Education
Bobby King, Government Seat
Brintha Renganathan, Campus Programs
Meredith Kornfeind, Campus Programs
Miles Williams, Athletics Seat
Kyle Porro, Speaker Pro Tempore
Heather Lamb, Assistant Secretary
SGA President Joe Incorvia proposed the creation of legislation in Trent Stetler’s honor. A moment of silence for Stetler was then held.
Speaker Pro Tempore Kyle Porro discussed the progress on The Acorn Fund. Two $4,500 prizes from the newly created fund will be given on a yearly basis to student entrepreneurs who have a desire to make an impact within the community.
The application to apply for The Acorn Fund is due Feb. 27.
