The Alamance-Burlington School System announced Jan. 29 that there will be no remote learning for students Jan. 30, and teachers will have an optional workday.
The district said the decision was made to preserve its final remote learning day for potential future weather events.
There will be no athletic or after-school activities Jan. 30, according to the release.
The district also announced that Feb. 13 will be a regular school day for students instead of a previously scheduled teacher workday.
