Elon student Grace Gaskin Shealy, 19, was arrested Sunday night after a traffic accident.
According to the Town of Elon Police report, police responded to a crash on East Haggard Avenue at 11:38 p.m.
Shealy originally fled the scene and was picked up by police in the Loy Neighborhood.
Shealy was arrested for driving while impaired and driving after consuming under the age of 21.
