Just last night on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough took on a true classic with a nod to the 80s hit "Dirty Dancing," and they didn’t disappoint.

It may not be Patrick Swayze, but the Australian actress and professional dancer duo nailed their take on the movie’s pinnacle “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” number with a mirrored rumba and even earned a perfect score from the judges.

Already a fan favorite, viewers now have even more reason to love the fun-loving 17-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin.

Other show contestants for this season include Tamar Braxton and Elon University's sadly absent homecoming headliner Andy Grammer. At least we can all rest easy knowing that it wasn’t all for nothing. He also walked home with a perfect score later that night with a “Singin in the Rain” rendition.

Derek took Dirty Dancing’s own Jennifer Grey to first place last season … and maybe this year we’ll see Bindi on top. Only time, and endless DWTS binge-watching, will tell.
