From 6 p.m. Friday night until 6 p.m. Saturday, Elon students danced away 24 hours for the annual dance marathon, Elonthon. For each six hour shift, hundreds of students took to Alumni Gym to benefit the cause, some staying for the full 24 hours. It was $25 to register and Elonthon raised $180,068.58, all proceeds going to Duke Children's Hospital. The slogan for Elonthon is 'For the Kids' and Miracle Children from Duke visited throughout the 24 hours.

The Miracle Children have a dance-off with the Elonthon participants.
